A delegation of representatives of Vietnamese travel companies and resorts visited Finland on September 18, 2017 to introduce Vietnam as a travel destination and to do matchmaking with Finnish travel companies. Vietnam Tourism Roadshow event was organized by Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in cooperation with the Embassies of Vietnam in Nordic Countries in Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo.
The event was a success in Helsinki and attracted numerous representatives from travel industry to meet Vietnamese colleagues. Vietnam national TV channel VTV1 made a programme on the roadshow. Mr. Jani Kaulo was interviewed as the representative of the Finnish participants on the current situation and future potential of tourism business between the two countries. The programmed was broadcasted in Vietnam on September 29, 2017.
