Ms. Quyen Nguyen, an expert of international wood business, from Vietnam has joined AFL from May 2022.
Quyen’s main competence is buying and selling hard and soft wood products from the EU, USA, and Asia to Vietnam. During the past 16 years in the industry, she has developed strong and long-term relationships to buyers in Vietnam.
Before, Quyen worked as a senior sales and marketing and procurement manager more than 14 years in different international companies (Indochina Wood Hongkong, DLH Group, JAF Group, CNG Group).
In addition, she has run her own company in Vietnam for more than 2 years as a trader and distributor, which has made her familiar of expectations from clients and suppliers.
Quyen’s role as a market entry consultant in AFL is to connect Vietnamese flooring, home decor product and indoor/outdoor furniture manufacturers to the EU market as well as help EU companies to export products and rough wood material to Vietnam.
Quyen is also an expert on dealing with cultural differences and negotiations because she understands the expectations of Western companies and the way Vietnamese factories operate.
